Jytte Guteland | The new EU Climate Law

Jytte Guteland is a member of the European Parliament for the Social Democrats since 2014. She was the lead negotiator for the European Union Climate Law that reached a deal after 14 hours of talks on the 21st of April 2021.  Since 2019, she is a member and group leader for the Social Democratic Group in the Environment Committee – the European Parliament’s largest committee.  She is also working in the delegation for relations with the United States and the Committee of Foreign Affairs.
